Thomas Huszar

Uniondale, NY Thomas Huszar has joined Forchelli Deegan Terrana’s (FDT) corporate and mergers & acquisitions practice group as a partner.

Huszar is an experienced business attorney with a diversified corporate practice. His customary experience ranges from acting as “outside general counsel” and being the primary outside legal resource to private companies and their owners to representing larger “institutional” clients in a wide array of corporate and transactional matters including M&A, joint ventures and other strategic partnerships as well as debt and equity financings.

“We are delighted to welcome Tom to the firm. His almost 30 years of transactional experience and impeccable professional reputation greatly interested us. As we discovered the breadth of his legal experience, the diversity of his clientele and his ability to work across multiple practice groups, we felt that he would be an invaluable addition to our partnership and to our full-service law firm,” said Joseph Cuomo, a partner and chair of the firm’s corporate and M&A practice group. “We are all looking forward to Tom’s integration into the firm,” he said.

“I couldn’t be happier than to be joining FDT,” Huszar said. “I have known a number of partners here for many years and I have always been impressed with the quality of the lawyering here and the strong culture of collaborative working, professionalism and cooperation that exists amongst the attorneys at FDT. My clients will greatly benefit from our team approach and I look forward to working with my new colleagues.”

Before joining FDT, Huszar was a partner at Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf, LL.

Huszar earned his J.D. from the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, his M.B.A. from the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis and his B.A. from the University of Connecticut.
