How do you contribute to the community?
I serve my community by being a member of NYC CERT, the Community Emergency Response Team that requires completing an 11 week course developed by the Office of Emergency Management.
CERT teams assist with initial emergency response while waiting for professional first responders. During non-emergency situations we educate in our community about disaster preparedness by participating in local events. Also, as a residential Realtor with Halstead Property in Riverdale, I offer the Ready New York "Preparing for Emergencies in NYC" pamphlets to my clients and customers.
Additionally, I am certified by the American Red Cross Reserve Institute and in CPR/AED and Standard First Aid.
