Hofstra University of Law honors Horowitz and Nadel with Moritt Hock & Hamroff's 2013 scholarship

Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University has named Raechel Horowitz of Warwick, New York and Seth Nadel of Douglaston, New York as recipients of the 2013 Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP Annual Scholarship, an annual tuition scholarship awarded to one or more first-year law students. Horowitz is a first year law student at Hofstra University School of Law where she received a Merit Scholarship, the Charles H. Revson Law Students Public Interest Fellowship and the First Year Excellence Award in Contracts. Ms. Horowitz earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from SUNY Buffalo and is expected to earn her Juris Doctor from Hofstra in May 2015. Nadel is a first year law student at Hofstra University School of Law where he received a Merit Scholarship. Nadel earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Long Island University, where he was the recipient of a C.W. Post Academic Scholarship. He is expected to earn his Juris Doctor from Hofstra in May 2015. "We are delighted to provide this solid foundation upon which our scholarship recipients can continue to successfully pursue their legal studies as part of our firm's commitment to actively support the legal profession's next generation of leaders," said Marc Hamroff, managing partner of the firm. The Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP Annual Scholarship awards one or more first-year law students (full and part-time) who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, financial need and the potential of becoming a future leader in the profession. The scholarship also offers recipients the unique opportunity to develop networking and mentoring relationships with members of the firm.
