Hidrock Realty promotes Kaplan and Shin

Hidrock Realty is has promoted Robert Kaplan and Yvette Shin. * Robert Kaplan has been promoted to director of leasing, and is responsible for managing the day-to-day leasing activity at Hidrock, including marketing spaces, drafting and negotiating proposals, negotiating leases, preparing leasing reports, and keeping Hidrock's partners apprised of all leasing activity, as well as assisting in maintaining and updating Hidrock's turnkey office build-out program. A LEED AP-certified real estate professional, Kaplan joined Hidrock as a leasing associate in 2004 and promoted to senior leasing associate in 2007. He was named one of Real Estate Weekly's "Rising Stars" in 2007. Kaplan graduated from Rutgers University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in arts with a certificate in urban planning and real estate development. * Yvette Shin has been promoted to director of marketing. In her new role, Shin is responsible for coordinating marketing materials initiatives to highlight the firm's portfolio of commercial spaces. Shin joined Hidrock in 2010 as the executive assistant to the CEO. She studied political science at Tufts University. "As we continue expanding, we look to promote dynamic professionals who can continue to inspire growth within the Hidrock family," said Abraham Hidary, president of Hidrock Realty, Inc. "Robert and Yvette have both proven time and time again through their outstanding work here that they have the talent, perseverance and knowledge to not only succeed, but to cement their place among the rising stars of Hidrock and the New York City commercial real estate sector."
