Herzfeld joins Avison Young to head Tri-State marketing team

New York, NY According to Arthur Mirante, Avison Young principal and Tri-State president, Arielle Herzfeld has joined the firm as Senior Director of Marketing, Tri-State, based in the firm’s New York City office. Effective immediately, Herzfeld will lead marketing and public relations efforts across the firm’s New York City, New Jersey, Fairfield/Westchester and Long Island offices. Drawing on her significant experience in the industry, Herzfeld will direct all internal and external communications for Avison Young’s Tri-State offices, in addition to developing and implementing strategic marketing campaigns. She will also be involved in the creation of the firm’s business development resources and pitch and presentation materials, as well as marketing efforts for the firm’s exclusive agency assignments, including Moinian Group’s 3 Hudson Boulevard and the Paramount Building in Manhattan. Avison Young entered the Tri-State market in 2012 and has since established a powerful regional presence. Earlier this year, the firm announced that all of its Tri-State offices had signed leases to expand their local offices. “We are extremely fortunate to be welcoming Arielle at such a pivotal time for our firm, as we continue to experience significant growth throughout the Tri-State market,” comments Mirante. “Arielle’s creativity and strategic vision will enable us to expand our marketing efforts, and her wide-ranging industry experience is a perfect match for our broad suite of commercial real estate services.” Added A. This strategic addition to our growing team will help us elevate the Avison Young brand in the region and will impact our clients in an extremely positive way.” Herzfeld brings more than a decade of strategic marketing and public relations experience to Avison Young. She previously held senior positions at DTZ’s New York office and Grubb & Ellis, where she oversaw marketing, public relations and business development efforts. At Avison Young, she will report directly to Mirante and the firm’s Tri-State managing directors: Mitti Liebersohn in New York City, Jeffrey Heller in New Jersey, Sean Cahill in Fairfield/Westchester, and Ted Stratigos in Long Island. “I’ve been following Avison Young as the firm has successfully introduced a new brokerage model to the industry,” Herzfeld said. “It’s extremely exciting to be able to play a key role in broadening awareness of this new model while supporting the firm’s regional professionals and clients.” Over the past six years, Avison Young has grown from 11 to 67 offices and from 300 to more than 1,900 real estate professionals across Canada, the U.S., and in Europe.
