The West Side Presbyterian Church, designed by architects Herbert Newman and Partners of New Haven, Connecticut, was awarded a New Jersey Golden Trowel Award for "Best of Municipal/Community" projects by the International Masonry Institute of New Jersey. The New Jersey Golden Trowel Awards honor excellence in masonry design and construction in the state of New Jersey.
