H2M architects + engineers welcomes Brindley and Todaro

H2M architects + engineers has hired Gilbert Brindley and Joe Todaro, P.E., LEED AP. Brindley has joined H2M as director of marketing responsible for all corporate marketing efforts. He has worked in the engineering and construction industry for 25 years. Todaro has joined the H2M Water team as senior water resources engineer. Todaro comes to H2M from a 23-year career with Sidney Bowne & Son, LLP where he was an associate partner in charge of water projects where he was the primary contact person responsible for the design and management of several water districts. He also handled all swimming pool and spray ground projects. "I am excited to be part of the H2M team. The firm has an excellent reputation and is well positioned to continue its track of growth in the future. I look forward to becoming an integral part of the group, supporting the marketing, sales and business development efforts," said Brindley. Prior to joining H2M, Brindley was a principal and president of Benjamin Brindley & Sons—an engineering and construction services firm that serves the insurance industry. He personally conducted cause and origin investigations for insurance losses and construction management services for restoration projects. Brindley is a Licensed Professional Civil Engineer and a Certified Professional Services Marketer by the Society for Marketing Professional Services. He has a bachelor degree from the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY and an M.B.A from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. "I am excited to be joining H2M and working with such an experienced and well-respected staff. I look forward to facing new challenges as the company grows and expands," says Todaro. Todaro is a Licensed Professional Engineer for the state of New York and a LEED Accredited Professional by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). He is active in the professional community where he is a member of the American Water Works Association and the Long Island Water Conference. He is a graduate of Polytechnic University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering. H2M is a full-service consulting and design firm offering the expertise of more than 260 architects, engineers (water supply, civil/site, structural, M/E/P, wastewater and environmental), planners, designers, inspectors, surveyors and scientists. When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
