Grieco of Criterium Tauscher Cronacher addresses Appraisal Institute; Presenting structural damage case studies

Over 60 professional real estate appraisers attended the February 15 event held at the Westbury Manor, hosted by the Long Island Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. Guest speaker Anthony Grieco, professional engineer presented structural damage case studies from Hurricane Irene and Super Storm Sandy and discussed FEMA's N.Y. guidelines for flood loss, appraisal and lender requirements and insurance settlements. Grieco also discussed challenges for engineers and appraisers, remediation, local economic outlook, land uses and future challenges.
