GreenbergFarrow designs 40-unit North8 Condominiums

GreenbergFarrow, a nationally prominent architectural, planning, engineering and development consulting firm, has designed the North8 Condominiums on Kent Ave. In Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The nearly sold-out property was developed by Toll Brothers. The North8 Condominiums is a life-style, 40-unit, six-story complex that is seamlessly integrated into one of New York City's most desirable neighborhoods. The building is situated just off the L train and Bedford. Ave. "Williamsburg, one of New York City's fastest-changing neighborhoods, is home to many trend-setting hot spots and artist enclaves, all within an easy commute to Manhattan," said Navid Maqami, AIA, NCARB, LEED, principal and vice president of architecture at GreenbergFarrow. "North8 exemplifies the neighborhood's edgy character while providing the luxury amenities urbanites crave. GreenbergFarrow's work on North8 is another example of our design team's ability to think like developers and maximize their return on investment, while creating seamless, gracious residences that stand out to potential buyers." North8 consists of one, two and three-bedroom condominiums, along with an assortment of townhouses. To maximize investment value, GreenbergFarrow's design team created a "single-loaded" residential configuration where nearly every unit includes floor-to-ceiling windows with East River skyline views. The building's Norman-size brick and window-wall glass lends the property a high-end appearance. North8's rooftop cabanas offer sweeping view of Manhattan and the East River State Park. Residents also have access to concierge service, a fully equipped fitness center, an in-building temperature controlled parking garage and a courtyard.
