Greenberg of Austin & Williams inducted into the Direct Marketing Association of Long Island hall of fame on Oct. 16th
On October 16Âth, Ken Greenberg of Austin & Williams was inducted into the Direct Marketing Association of Long Island (DMALI) hall of fame.
Greenberg is the founder of Austin & Williams, a member of the 4As (American Association of Advertising Agencies) and the leading advertising and marketing consultancy headquartered on Long Island.
He started the agency with retired co-founder William Pesce in 1992. Prior to that, he had a 22-year career in retail banking. His last bank position, just before Austin & Williams, was as vice president-marketing and retail Banking at Central Federal Savings Bank, headquartered in Mineola.
Greenberg's specialty is database marketing and predictive analysis. Always on the leading edge, he is one of the first to adopt and offer household level lifestyle segmentation. He recently presented Digital Guerilla Marketing Techniques at the NJBankers. A believer in truly big ideas, he co-founded Patient Innovations, LLC, a company that provides cloud-based application solutions to improve the patient experience.
Greenberg is involved in several charities and trade organizations and is a member of the Long Island Association Executive Round Table, Long Island Advancement of Small Business, NJBankers, New Yorks Bankers Association, New England Financial Marketing Association, ACIT and 4As. He's on the board of the American Jewish Committee, Long Island Chapter, and is chair of their annual golf outing.
DMALI is a non-profit organization with a professional interest in Long Island's direct marketing industry. The association's mission is to provide an exchange of marketing information with a focus on cutting edge technology, strategies, regulations and case studies. The organization is committed to educational and networking opportunities, observes the highest ethical business standards, promotes a public understanding of direct marketing and offers annual scholarships to Long Island students majoring in Marketing.
John Princiotta, senior vice president of marketing at Publishers Clearing House was also inducted into the DMALI hall of fame.
