Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce's "2023 Economic Forecast and Building BC Awards"

Binghamton, NY The Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce has announced the 2023 Economic Forecast and Building BC Awards, sponsored by M&T Bank, on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.

“At the Leadership Alliance, we are committed to promoting the economic success of all businesses in Greater Binghamton through innovative programming and effective resources, like the Annual Economic Forecast and accompanying Economic Outlook Guide. We are excited to see a rise in optimism once again amongst our business owners and are looking forward to ushering in another year of economic growth in 2023,” said Leadership Alliance CEO, Stacey Duncan

This year’s forecast will include our Building BC Awards aimed at recognizing the innovation and growth of our community with three categories: Innovative Award, Restorative Award, and Transformative Award. We will also honor an individual who has made significant contributions towards enhancing the business conditions and economic climate of Broome County.

Peter Kneis, senior vice preisdent of Commercial Planning & Analytics at M&T Bank, will present an in-depth analysis of the Binghamton areas economic outlook for 2023. The Greater Binghamton Association of Realtors will also provide a short presentation on the current housing market in our area.

Additionally, we will be releasing our enhanced Economic Outlook Guide. This guide is packed with information, market intelligence and insights. It will give you a sense of the current and future economic climate in our region, as well as for key industries. Having access to the right types of information can improve decision making for businesses in our area.
