Gottesdiener joins The Georgetown Co. as senior advisor

Manhattan, NY The Georgetown Company, a developer and owner of commercial, retail and mixed-use properties nationwide, said that architect T.J. Gottesdiener has joined the company as a senior advisor for the company’s portfolio of real estate projects across the country including hotels, retail and office buildings. Over the course of his career, Gottesdiener led some of projects in New York City including One World Trade Center, Seven World Trade Center, the Baccarat Hotel and Time Warner Center (now Deutsche Bank Center.) He has also overseen renovations of the landmarked Lever House, as well as the headquarters for companies such as Disney and Citi. Internationally, Gottesdiener has led notable projects, including the six million s/f Tokyo Midtown development in Japan, Guoco Tower in Singapore and Ben Gurion Airport in Israel.

Gottesdiener previously held the title of management partner in the New York office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), the interdisciplinary design firm behind some of the most innovative projects in the world. At Georgetown, Gottesdiener will advise on the development of existing projects and the acquisition of new sites and properties. He will provide counsel across portfolio management, business development, zoning and jurisdictional processes and more.
