Goodman and Sukenik of NKF rep. tenant in 15,500 s/f lease at Tower 49

Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLC has opened an office at Tower 49, which is located at 12 East 49th St.Newmark Knight Frank senior managing director Barry Goodman and executive VP and principal Moshe Sukenik represented the Los Angeles-based law firm in lease negotiations for the Midtown space. The firm occupies 15,500 s/f, comprising the entire 30th floor of the 45-story, 600,000 s/f, class A trophy office building. GVA Williams senior managing director Robert Bakst represented the sublessor MJX Asset Management and building owner, Kato Real Estate Corp., in the transaction. This office represents Silberberg's first foray into N.Y.C. The office will initially focus in the practice areas of litigation, intellectual property, entertainment and real estate.
