Goldstein Lieberman sponsors leader event

Lawmakers and newsmakers met with political commentators and other media members at the Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce's luncheon sponsored by Goldstein Lieberman & Co. on Oct. 21. "It was an unusual and lively exchange of ideas between the movers and shakers who make the news and the reporters and columnists who cover and comment on it," said Phillip Goldstein, managing partner of Goldstein Lieberman. Stephen Borg, president of North Jersey Media Group, along with Charles Stile and Alfred Doblin, columnists for The Record, addressed a number of issues including the upcoming elections and their implications for local businesses and organizations. They also fielded questions and spent time in conversation with regional business leaders. Founded in 1957, the Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce is a dynamic organization representing over 100 communities in the region. The Chamber's membership includes retail, professional, service and corporate businesses, both large and small.
