Global Holdings, MacArthur Holdings and Tankhouse top out Anagram Gowanus

Brooklyn, NY Global Holdings with MacArthur Holdings and Tankhouse, celebrated the topping out of the luxury mixed-use residential tower Anagram Gowanus. Located at 450 Union St. in the Gowanus neighborhood, this is the fifth building within Global Holdings’ elevated Anagram residential portfolio and its first outside Manhattan. Anagram Gowanus is anticipated to be completed in Q2 2027. 

KSK Construction Group served as the general contractor, with Raptor Concrete engaged as the project’s foundation and superstructure subcontractor.

Anagram Gowanus is a 20-story, 158-unit mixed-use tower with 22,000 s/f of ground-floor retail space. Designed by SO–IL, with Magnusson Architecture & Planning serving as architect of record, Anagram Gowanus will offer studio to three-bedroom residences and feature an suite of amenities curated around community and well-being including fitness and coworking spaces, a children’s playroom and rooftop terraces. Private outdoor space lines the majority of units with 25% having an outdoor terrace, and nearly every unit offering a Juliette balcony. All residences will offer dual-corner exposure, providing views across the city.

The tower reflects an architectural vision rooted in wellness, creativity, and the neighborhood’s distinctive character. The project will also include a 5,700 s/f waterfront esplanade that expands public access along the Gowanus Canal and supports the city’s waterfront activation goals.
