Brooklyn, NY Global Holdings has inked a lease with Mindspace, the global flexible workspace provider, to expand its Williamsburg location at 25 Kent Ave. by 11,500 s/f. The expansion, slated for completion in summer 2026, will bring Mindspace’s total footprint at the property to 50,000 s/f, further strengthening 25 Kent’s position as one of the city’s most dynamic office destinations.
Once complete, the expanded Mindspace location will support more than 550 entrepreneurs, founders, and teams, while increasing the amount of shared workspace available to members. The expansion also aligns with Global Holdings’ strategy of curating a diverse tenant mix at 25 Kent that blends traditional office users with flexible, hospitality-driven workspace models.
Founded in 2014, Mindspace offers design-forward offices, shared workspaces, and event programming for entrepreneurs, startups, and established companies, pairing boutique design and a hospitality-led experience to support how people work, collaborate, and grow.
“We approach leasing at 25 Kent with a strategic focus on supporting how modern companies operate and scale,” said Craig Panzirer, senior vice president and director of leasing at Global Holdings. “Mindspace’s continued growth at the property underscores the impact of how we curate the building, invest in the tenant experience, and design high-performance environments for companies to grow.”
The expansion will introduce additional private offices, expanded lounge areas, and significant upgrades to Mindspace’s shared amenities, including a reimagined main lounge and a fully revamped event space designed to accommodate higher-end, tech-forward programming. The additional square footage will also allow Mindspace to introduce smaller private offices, responding to demand from early-stage companies and founders seeking private space without long-term commitments.
“This expansion is a direct response to the incredible demand we’ve seen from the Williamsburg community,” said Mark Goldfinger, Head of North America at Mindspace. “Mindspace Williamsburg has consistently maintained high occupancy rates, and this close collaboration between Mindspace and Global Holdings has accommodated continued growth while enhancing the overall experience for our members and 25 Kent tenants alike.”
The Mindspace expansion builds on a period of significant leasing activity at 25 Kent following Global Holdings’ assumption of day-to-day management in April of 2025, as well as strong leasing activity across Global Holdings’ New York City office portfolio – reinforcing the firm’s investment thesis centered on high-quality assets, strong amenity offerings, and locations that resonate with today’s workforce. Recent deals at the property include a nearly 60,000-square-foot lease with AI-powered platform RillaVoice – one of the largest office deals in Williamsburg over the past year – alongside a growing roster of tenants such as KITH, Amazon Music, Queen One, and Altana AI.
