Ginsburg Development opens second phase of leasing at Admirals Cove development

November 14, 2023 - Owners Developers & Managers

Haverstraw, NY Building on the resounding success of the first phase of leasing at the Admirals Cove luxury development, Ginsburg Development Companies (GDC) has opened the second phase of apartments at the waterfront community.

Set on a peninsula with water on three sides and a private marina, the second phase of Admirals Cove features two four-story buildings with a total of 58 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. Each building has its own lobby and fitness center.

The first phase, which opened in June, is currently 90% leased. “We are thrilled by the tremendous response that Admirals Cove has received since our grand opening in June. We are attracting residents from throughout Rockland County who are looking for a luxury lifestyle with fabulous amenities and beautifully designed apartments overlooking the majestic Hudson River,” said Martin Ginsburg, founder and principal of GDC.

The buildings at Admirals Cove, which feature a waterfront-inspired architecture, are set along a waterfront promenade with sculptures and views of the Hudson River to the east and High Tor Mountain to the west.

The apartments feature euro-style kitchen cabinetry with white lacquer upper cabinets, quartz countertops, whirlpool stainless steel appliances, and an island breakfast bar in many units. There is wide plank LVT flooring in all living rooms and bedrooms with porcelain tiles in bathrooms; white shade window treatments in all rooms; large walk-in closets and in-unit washer & dryers.

Designer bathrooms have a contemporary vanity, large mirror, medicine cabinets and adjustable showerhead. Premium apartments feature balconies with river views. The monthly rents range from $2,530 to $4,875.

Residents of Admirals Cove enjoy amenities including a seasonal swimming pool, cabana, sundeck, fire pit, BBQ and children’s playground. For outdoor enjoyment there are a kayak launch, Zen garden, sandy beach and soon to come a waterfront restaurant. There is also a commuter ferry to Metro-North Railroad across the Hudson River in Ossining. Outdoor and indoor parking is available with EV charging stations.

Begun more than 20 years ago, Admirals Cove is GDC’s achievement of the redevelopment of the Haverstraw waterfront on a site that was once a historic brick factory. Admirals Cove joins GDC’s adjacent Harbor Square development to create a community on the Hudson River at its widest point. Plans call for two more four-story buildings and construction of a waterfront restaurant and the extension of the waterfront park and sculpture trail which ultimately will connect to the downtown.

Admirals Cove is located to the Lower Hudson Valley, Westchester County, Bergen County and the Palisades Parkway drive to New York City.
