GFP Real Estate leases 27,990 s/f to Tutor Perini Corp.

520 Eighth Avenue - Manhattan, NY

Manhattan, NY According to GFP Real Estate, Tutor Perini Corp., a civil and building construction company and one of the largest general contractors in the U.S., has signed a new six-year lease for 27,990 s/f at 520 Eighth Ave.

The lease covers a portion of the 8th floor at 520 8th Ave. and the entire 9th floor at 266 West 27th St., respectively, which is connected to 520 8th Ave. and shares a lobby, where Tutor Perini will establish its New York office operations following completion of landlord improvement work. The company took possession of the space this month.

“We’re excited to welcome Tutor Perini Corp., a major player in the construction industry, to 520 Eighth Ave.,” said Jeffrey Gural, chairman of GFP Real Estate. “Their decision to take space at the property underscores its appeal to companies across industries. With deals like this, the building continues to remain one of Midtown’s most desirable and nearly fully leased office towers.”

Matthew Mandell of GFP Real Estate represented the landlord, GFP Real Estate, in the transaction.
