Woodbury, NY Gettry Marcus CPA, P.C. has been named to INSIDE Public Accounting’s Best of the Best Firms list for 2016.

INSIDE Public Accounting’s (IPA’s) annual Best of the Best recognition honors only 50 CPA firms across the country for their overall superior financial and operational performance on 70 IPA criteria. The right combination of planning, strategy and execution distinguish Best of the Best firms from among more than 540 firms that participated in IPA’s 26th Annual Survey and Analysis of Firms.

The IPA Best of the Best CPA firms demonstrates long-term consistency and exceptional performance.  In any economy – up or down – clues for what to do, where to focus and how to practice can be found in the IPA Best of the Best.  Exceptional client service, commitment to firm wide training, unique benefits for both staff and clients, and specialized client focus all lead to the path of the IPA Best of the Best.

“Best of the Best firms are financially successful, but that’s only part of what makes them exceptional,” said Michael Platt, principal of the Platt Group and publisher of the accounting trade publication, INSIDE Public Accounting.  “Best of the Best firms are built on a strong foundation that considers the needs of staff, owners and clients as the three key constituencies of any successful business.  They are not content to stand still.  They plan ahead for the future of the firm and they anticipate the needs of their clients.”

“Gettry Marcus is a premier accounting, tax and consulting firm that builds value for our clients, employees, and our community.  We are extremely pleased that the IPA has recognized us as a Best of the Best Firm,” said Steven L. Marcus, Gettry Marcus’ Managing Partner.
