GDC Properties welcomes first residents to 134-unit 220 Water Street

GDC Properties has completed 220 Water St., the loft style apartment building in DUMBO, and welcomed its first residents. The 5-story, 134-unit luxury rental project is the first development in New York City undertaken by Westchester-based GDC Properties, an award-winning developer of residential and commercial properties along the East Coast. 220 Water St. offers renters a collection of studio, one and two-bedroom residences, many with home offices and large skylights. All 18 floor plans feature 10-foot windows with custom sun shades, 14-foot ceilings and premium finishes. "We're thrilled to begin welcoming residents to 220 Water Street," said Adam Ginsburg, co-chairman of GDC Properties. "These gracious loft homes were created with the greatest care, skill, and materials to maintain the look and feel of classic DUMBO, while offering luxurious and modern living spaces, top quality amenities and a superior level of service for our residents." "We've already seen tremendous interest in the building, both with appointments and walk-ins, and we're excited to report strong initial leasing activity," said Carre Harnett, GDC Properties' onsite leasing director for 220 Water Street. The building's 30-foot high, sky-lit lobby offers residents a coffee bar, lounge areas and a water feature. Here tenants will have access to Abigail Michaels Concierge services, where they can request anything from apartment cleaning and nanny services to premium tickets for theater or sporting events.
