South Huntington, NY GATES Capital Corp. has arranged and closed $2.25 million in financing for the benefit of The ELIJA Farm, Inc. (the borrower), an affiliate of The ELIJA School, Inc. The borrower will use the proceeds of the 2016 bonds to finance a portion of the cost of purchasing a 6.5-acre farm.
The ELIJA Farm will become an annex site for ELIJA’s Levittown school location and will become a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.
ELIJA Farm will operate as sustainable, non-profit farm committed to using environmentally responsible practices to raise high quality, organically grown produce.
