Gasser of Largo Capital arranges $12.441 million construction financing

Sarasota, FL Matt Gasser of Largo Capital, Inc. arranged construction financing for a 103-key StudioRes by Marriott hotel. The five-year loan includes a 24-month interest-only period with a floating rate, followed by 25-year amortization over the remaining term.

Loan proceeds will fund the ground-up development of the hotel, which will be located off Interstate 75 in Lakewood Ranch—a 30,000-acre master-planned community spanning both Manatee and Sarasota counties.

StudioRes by Marriott is the brand’s newest midscale extended-stay concept, offering modern design, home-like comforts, and a community-focused atmosphere. Each property features clean lines, multifunctional furniture, and vibrant interiors that blend living, working, and dining spaces.

The hotel’s strategic location provides immediate access to destinations, including:

  • The Mall at University Town Center
  • Sarasota Bradenton International Airport
  • Downtown Sarasota

With strong visibility and high demand from both business and leisure travelers, this development represents a prime opportunity in Sarasota’s growing hospitality market.
