Friedman of Pliskin Realty brokers two recent sales totaling $1.75m

Mitchell Friedman, vice president of investment sales at Pliskin Realty & Development, recently handled two sales. Friedman brokered a $925,000 sale of a 4,000 s/f strip shopping center located at 1825-1827 Deer Park Ave. Friedman was the exclusive broker, representing the seller and the buyer, both private investors. According to Friedman, the neighborhood shopping center, which recently underwent a renovation, is situated on Deer Park Ave./Rte. 231, a major north-south thoroughfare in Western Suffolk. He recently closed on two new leases for the center: one store to a three-chain body and nail retailer and a second lease for a new clothing store. Currently pending is a lease for a computer retailer. Friedman also handled the $825,000 sale of a 6,000 s/f mixed-used building located at 397 Jericho Turnpike in Floral Park.
