Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson acts as counsel to Extell in $530 million financing for Brooklyn Point

Brooklyn, NY Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP acted as counsel to Extell Development Co. in connection with its  $530 million mortgage and mezzanine financing for Brooklyn Point, a 68-story residential tower. The Kohn Pedersen Fox designed condo tower is located at 138 Willoughby St. and includes apartments and 40,000 s/f of indoor and outdoor amenities. It will be the first for sale residential property at City Point.

The Fried Frank team was led by real estate partner Jonathan Mechanic and included real estate partner Avi David Feinberg and real estate associates Alexander Sutherland, Ben Cohen, Gilmar Colonia, and Adam Ezrapour. The financing includes a $425 million senior construction loan handled by M&T Bank and a $105 million mezzanine loan provided by RXR Realty.
