Forest City Ratner retail HVRS for its Ridge Hill project in Yonkers

According to Hudson Valley Roofing & Sheet Metal (HVRS), Forest City Ratner Companies has retained the company to be part of its Ridge Hill mixed-use project. The 10-building project will offer both retail and entertainment facilities. Under Buildings Packages 2, HVRS will be working with UW Marx to provide roofing and sheet metal work for Buildings I and J. "Hudson Valley will be working with several manufacturers to provide timely construction services to Forest City, which is always a challenge," said HVRS VP, Jim Dobush. "It's easy to be just another subcontractor on a project, but for this we'll not only be working on-site, we'll be in a managerial role as well. This is to ensure all the vendors work together quickly and professionally to serve the client." In addition to providing the roofing and sheet metal work, HVRS will also install a white EnergyCap system with an estimated energy savings of over $22,500 over 15 years on Building J, which will be 70,000 s/f and a SBS modified bitumen roofing system on Building I, which will be approximately 56,000 s/f along with decorative zinc siding. HVRS is a full service commercial roofing company centrally located in Orange County, serving both the lower and central Hudson Valley. The company focuses on continued growth fostered by the company's reputation for quality and value. Hudson Valley employs the highly skilled mechanics and supports them with a highly experienced professional office staff. The company provides clients experience and competence to perform any project, proven methods to manage the project, knowledge to understand the project and stability to complete the project.
