Manhattan, NY Fisher Brothers revealed that over 60,000 s/f of leasing activity took place at 299 Park Ave.

Becker, Glynn, Muffly, Chassin & Hosinski LLP, a full-service law firm, renewed its 25,000 s/f lease and Park Madison Partners, a real estate capital markets firm that was previously a subtenant at 299 Park Ave., renewed its 6,300 s/f lease as a direct tenant. Investment company and current occupant of Fisher Brothers’ 1345 Avenue of the Americas, MacKay Shields LLC, will now occupy 30,000 s/f on the 32nd floor at 299 Park Ave.

Marc Packman, Charles Laginestra, Clark Briffel, and Josh Fisher led negotiations for Fisher Brothers across the deals. Becker, Glynn, Muffly, Chassin & Hosinski was represented by Mark Weiss of Cushman & Wakefield. Park Madison Partners was represented by Eric Cagner at Newmark. David Falk, Peter Shimkin, and Andrew Sachs of Newmark also worked with Fisher Brothers to secure the deals.

“Strengthening our relationships with existing tenants is something we take great pride in, reflecting our founding principles of exceptional tenant service and experiences,” said Ken Fisher, partner at Fisher Brothers. “We’re thrilled to continue serving Becker Glynn and Park Madison Partners and welcome MacKay Shields to 299 Park Ave. This property continues to be an ideal place for our tenants to do business – we’ve invested in capital improvements and infrastructure upgrades to deliver the best for our tenants.”

Indicative of the firm’s commitment to providing a best-in-class office experience, Fisher Brothers invested $20 million in a large-scale capital improvement project at 299 Park Ave. in recent years that transformed the interior of the lobby space, exterior facade and upgraded the building’s elevators. In partnership with the Rockwell Group, Fisher Brothers created a grand, bright and inviting interior with hotel-like design, quality and finishes. The entire renovation centers around a large-scale, digital art display. Created by LAB at Rockwell Group, the 60-ft.-long LED art installation, “Living Canvas,” brings an ever-evolving cinematic art experience to Park Ave.

For years, Fisher Brothers has taken a proactive approach to tenant health and well-being, undertaking building-wide infrastructure upgrades, like hospital-grade air filtration systems and Bluetooth technology for a contact-free entry experience. Fisher Brothers was recognized for achieving WELL Health Safety Rating certification from the International WELL Building Institute across its entire New York City commercial portfolio, including 299 Park.

The firm recently announced, alongside institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Global Alternatives, that 1345 Avenue of the Americas is fully repositioned and over 90% leased after securing nearly one million s/f of leases. Most notably, Fisher Brothers celebrated the largest commercial office lease in the United States in 2023 with leading international law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP signing 765,000 s/f at 1345 Avenue of the Americas.
