Fielstein of MWE earns accredited senior appraiser designation
Howard Fielstein, CPA/ABV, CFE, CIRA, CTP, CVA, CBA, chairman of the litigation consulting practice group and partner at Margolin, Winer & Evens LLP, a leading CPA and business advisory firm with offices in Garden City, Long Island and Manhattan, has added another professional designation to his long list of credentials. Fielstein recently was awarded the accredited senior appraiser (ASA) designation awarded by the American Society of Appraisers. The ASA accreditation signifies a professional's high level of valuation expertise, market knowledge, expertise and a solid reputation. To qualify for the designation, an individual must have a minimum of five years of full-time equivalent appraisal experience, among other criteria.
In addition, Fielstein has successfully completed the U.S. Department of Justice, Executive Office for U.S. Trustees' background investigation for appointment as a Chapter 11 examiner.
At MWE, Fielstein specializes in forensic accounting, business and intangible asset valuations and damage claims associated with white-collar crime, business disputes, business interruption claims, intellectual property suits, torts, matrimonial actions and business bankruptcies and insolvencies.
