Blaney of CB Richard Ellis presented 2008 Rising Star Award from CIBS

The Commercial Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island (CIBS) presented its 2008 Rising Star Award to Ryan Blaney, an associate in the Woodbury office of CB Richard Ellis. Blaney was presented the award at the CIBS annual Meet Your Associates Party, held Nov. 5 at the Delano Mansion at the Woodlands, a catering facility. The award, presented annually by CIBS, recognizes new commercial brokers who have achieved notable success, made positive impressions or have shown unusually high potential. "Ryan Blaney is an outstanding new member of our industry and we wish him considerable success in the future," said Raymond Ruiz, president of CIBS. Blaney is a 2006 graduate of Marist College with a bachelor of science in Business Administration. He has been part of a team in the Woodbury office of CBRE that handles the leasing agency for multiple properties in Suffolk County. Since entering the commercial real estate business two years ago. he has assisted in leasing nearly 1 million s/f.
