Fields joins Structure Tone organization as CECO

Brian Fields has joined the Structure Tone organization as chief ethics and compliance officer (CECO). He will focus on promoting an ethical culture across the organization, assessing potential areas of risk and developing policy and practice improvements. He will also be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of Structure Tone's ethics and compliance programs, as well as helping to further advance a highly ethical culture within the organization. With responsibilities extending across the entire organization, he will advise our board of directors and senior executives on issues related to ethics, compliance and integrity. He will also conduct audits and internal reviews on any areas of concern. Through the comprehensive training of our staff and due diligence investigations on our supply chain he will enhance the organization's ethical culture. "Over the past 15 years the Structure Tone organization has taken steps to enhance our corporate compliance and ethics programs. Earlier this year we added three independent members to our board of directors, who provide a valuable impartial perspective to our business and practices," said Robert Mullen, CEO. He brings over 18 years of experience and hands-on practice in corporate compliance. Most recently he served as counsel on the government and internal investigations team at Alston & Bird, a renowned law firm in New York City. As counsel, he represented clients on a wide range of legal and ethical matters in the financial services, construction, engineering and accounting industries. Previously, Fields served for five years as Senior Investigative counsel in the New York County District Attorney's Office, supervising the prosecution of corporate entities for financial and white collar crimes. He gained extensive experience in the construction industry, ranging from investigations to reform as well as regulation and compliance initiatives. He received his law degree from Temple University Law School in Philadelphia, PA and was awarded a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.
