The NYSCAR Board of Governors met on February 6, 2024 at the Crowne Plaza/Desmond Hotel in Albany.

The board welcomed three new board members: Hilary Ryan Goldman from the Hudson Valley Chapter; Karen Zalewski-Wildzunas from the Greater Capital Chapter; and Gerard Wise, CCIM, president of the Upstate NY CCIM Chapter from Saratoga. The 2024 officers are as follows: Robert Strell, president (WNY), Mercedes Brien, first vice president (RAC), Carolyn Vinci, second vice president (WNY), and Andrew Mangini, treasurer (Greater Capital).

The tech committee, chaired by Andrew Mangini, requested funding for a new website which was approved by the board.  Communications group vice chair, Mark Rohlin, updated the board members on the committee’s ongoing marketing plan to heighten awareness of NYSCAR. Committee reports were also given from several other committees, including strategic planning, communications, professional development, legislative, RPAC, and grievance committees.

Chapter reports were also given from the Greater Capital Chapter, Hudson Valley, Syracuse, NYC/LI, Rochester and Western NY.
