Cook Properties opens new 20,760 s/f 177 unit Village Woods Storage

Spencerport, NY Cook Properties celebrated the grand opening of a new self-storage facility, marking an expansion of its presence in the Greater Rochester area. The 20,760 s/f space was completely renovated to accommodate 177 climate-controlled self-storage units.

The new facility, Village Woods Storage, is located in the lower level of Village Woods retail and office plaza at 42 Nichols St., and offers units ranging from 5’ x 10’ to 10’ x 23’. The state-of-the-art facility also features a limited number of 9’ x 20’ and 10’ x 20’ units with drive-up access suitable for vehicle or boat storage. The facility is located in a residential and commercial neighborhood serving the town and surrounding communities.

Cook Properties has focused on expanding its self-storage portfolio over the last 12 months – adding over 700 units as well as 200 secure outdoor storage options in Avon, LeRoy, and East Amherst – more than doubling the company’s storage holdings.

Customers can quickly reserve a unit entirely online with no long-term commitments, providing an easy solution for storing items safely with 24-hour access. Renters access their units with a smartphone application.
