What was your first job and what did you learn from it?
My first job was at a commercial real estate firm as a summer intern. I learned the importance of developing a good work ethic from the professionals that I worked with. They all had a passion for what they were doing, an attention to detail and great communication skills. I learned how rewarding a career in Property Management could be and knew that this was the path that I wanted to take.
What is your favorite quote?
My favorite quote is, "live, laugh, love." The actual quote comes from a poem by Bessie Anderson Stanley. Some use it as a general statement about how to live. Others use it as a guide to how to approach relationships. I think both of these are true, but that it also applies to one's choice of careers and one's work ethic. You can only achieve true success in life and in your career if you love what you do, if you can laugh with your friends and colleagues and if you truly live with passion for what you accomplish at work every day.
