Manhattan, NY Meridian Retail Leasing, the retail leasing division of Meridian Capital Group, has arranged a long-term lease for Koko Wings at 192 First Ave. in the East Village neighborhood. Meridian president of New York retail leasing, James Famularo, and director, Greg Goldberg, represented the landlord while Halstead’s Michelle Kim represented the tenant.

Koko Wings, specializing in Korean fried chicken, is opening its second location in New York City at 192 First Ave. between East 11th and East 12th Sts. The new location spans 1,200 s/f on the ground floor, 800 s/f on the lower level and features an 800 s/f back yard in addition to 12 ft. of frontage along First Ave. Koko Wings offers wings, drumsticks, and chicken strips in addition to a handful of sides such as white and brown rice, kimchi and regular coleslaw, and pickled vegetables. The restaurant’s East Village location is brand new and benefits from proximity to an array of popular neighbors, including Black Seed, Momofuku Noodle Bar, Heart, Veniero’s Pastry, and Sauce Pizzeria, and offers immediate access to several transportation options, including the 4, 5, 6, L, N, Q, R, and W subway lines. 

This is the team’s 34th lease in the immediate area, including leases for 194 First Ave., 82 Saint Marks Place, and 137 Ave. C. Currently, the team is marketing 131 First Ave., 229 First Ave., and 129-131 Ave. C, which are all also within a three-block radius from Koko Wings’ new location at 192 First Ave.
