Sam Schwartz Engineering (SSE) is a multidisciplinary engineering and planning firm with a specialization in transportation based projects. Founded in 1995 and headquartered in N.Y., it has grown from one office with three employees to six nationwide offices with 150 employees. Our services to the real estate industry include preparation of full analyses for environmental impact statements, travel demand management to reduce vehicular traffic to project sites as well as increase use of alternative modes, site circulation/design and coordination with city agencies. We are currently working on some of N.Y.'s largest projects such as the World Trade Center, Barclays Center and the Second Ave. Subway. In the future, SSE plans on continued expansion to other US cities and eventually internationally. Hobbies: Writing, skiing, in-line skating Favorite novel: "Wizard's First Rule" by Terry Goodkind Favorite film: "The Professional" Keys to success: Not taking myself too seriously, taking myself seriously when necessary, having fun, staying focused on solutions and a great product for our clients.
