According to Elad Group and Silverstein Properties, 100 residences have sold in less than 60 days at One West End, the preeminent residential tower rising at the corner of 59th St. and West End Ave. The 42-story building is the first and tallest condominium to come to market within the rising new neighborhood of Riverside Center. "One West End is a game changer for the neighborhood and will contribute significantly to the transformation of Manhattan's West Side," said Samantha Sax, executive vice president, marketing and sales, Elad Group. "Since launching sales less than two months ago, we have seen incredible demand from buyers both locally and internationally." With exteriors conceived by world-renowned Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, interiors by hospitality visionary Jeffrey Beers, who also partnered with Scavolini to create custom, high performance kitchens, and landscaping by award-winning firm Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects, One West End boasts a roster of distinguished leaders in architecture and design. "The sales activity at One West End has been exceptional," said Robert Vecsler, president, residential development, Silverstein Properties. "Each of the remaining residences presents a fantastic opportunity to own a truly stunning home in a new and exciting neighborhood." One West End comprises 246 light-filled one- to four-bedroom residences, with two penthouses. Resort style amenities offer seamlessly integrated indoor and outdoor spaces that include an expansive fitness center with studio space for yoga, pilates and personal training, a 75-foot swimming pool, spa treatment rooms, a media room, a billiards room, a children's playroom, a game room, a living room with fireplace, and a chef's kitchen and dining room. A 12,000-square-foot rooftop terrace will feature cabanas and areas for grilling and outdoor entertaining. "Buyers are falling in love with One West End as soon as they step into the sales gallery- the quality speaks for itself," said Joanie Schumacher, licensed associate real estate broker with Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group and on-site sales director for One West End. "The positive response is definitely indicative of how much this development exceeds purchasers' expectations." Construction is expected to be complete in the first quarter of 2017, with prices ranging from $1.7 million to over $20 million. Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is the exclusive sales and marketing agent for the property.
