Dutch House by Slate Property Group reaches 65% leased in Long Island City

Queens, NY According to Slate Property Group, Dutch House, its newest residential development in Long Island City, has reached 65% leased less than six weeks since its launch. The velocity is proof of demand for well-located, best-in-class rentals in one of the most desirable city neighborhoods, with access to Manhattan.

Designed by Aufgang Architects, Dutch House is an eight-story building offering 186 apartments and 21,000 s/f of retail on the ground floor. Located at 37-05 30th St. in Long Island City, units include studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, all of which include hardwood floors, washers and dryers, and patios or balconies. 56 apartments are set aside as affordable.

Dutch House amenities include a lobby with a concierge, fitness center, bike storage, recreation room with a pool table, and a rooftop terrace with barbeque grills and views of the Manhattan skyline. The building is a short walk from Queensbridge Park, the East River and various subway lines.

“We’re thrilled at how quickly Dutch House is leasing up, demonstrating the demand for luxury rentals in Long Island City,” said David Schwartz, co-founder and principal of Slate Property Group. “Residents from both New York City and across the country have been drawn to Dutch House because of its desirable location, easy access to Manhattan and modern amenities.
