Duke joins CBRE Retail as vice president

According to CB Richard Ellis, Tom Duke has joined the New York Tri-State Region's retail group as a vice president. Duke will focus on leasing and development, primarily on the agency side, through the city. Duke was previously senior managing director of local real estate firm LANSCO. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and the International Council of Shopping Centers. CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc., a Fortune 500 and S&P 500 company headquartered in Los Angeles, is the world's largest commercial real estate services firm (in terms of 2007 revenue). With over 29,000 employees, the Company serves real estate owners, investors and occupiers through more than 300 offices worldwide (excluding affiliate offices). What noteworthy transactions or deals from this year best exemplified key market trends or shifts? I would like to say there was an outstanding transaction for me this past year but 2024 was more a culmination of long-term relationships, most of which continued to transact. Deals were smaller in many cases but we saw robust leasing both on the agency side as well as on the tenant side.
