Douglas Elliman honors top NYC agents at annual awards

Uncasville, CT On Tuesday, March 5th, Douglas Elliman Real Estate celebrated its agents from around the country at its annual awards ceremony, The Ellies. Top performers from New York City, including Manhattan and Brooklyn, were among the honorees at this year’s event held at Mohegan Sun.

Nationwide, Douglas Elliman’s 2018 total sales volume was $28.1 billion, up eight percent from 2017. The firm was responsible for 44,131 sales and rental transactions and was ranked the number three brokerage in the nation by sales volume.

MANHATTAN

In Manhattan, Elliman was ranked the number one brokerage by closed sales volume, active listings volume and agent count. The firm was also responsible for four of the year’s top 10 sales in New York City.

Earning first place for Top Teams by Gross Commission Income (GCI) in New York City was The Noble Black Team, led by Noble Black of the 575 Madison Avenue office. Taking home this year’s #1 spot for Top Individuals by GCI was Madeline Hult Elghanayan, who is also based out of the 575 Madison Avenue office.  

Rounding out the awards for Top Teams by GCI were The Holly Parker Team (#2), The Rubin Team and The Lauren Muss Team (tied #3), The Shemesh Team (#4), The Alexander Team (#5), The Sukenik-Glazer Team (#6), The Rundhaug & Neuhauser Team (#7), The Sabrina Saltiel Team (#8), The Richard Steinberg Team (#9), The Anderson-Ehrmann Team and The Katzen Team (tied #10), Tirosh & Team (#11), The Jacky Teplitzky Team (#12), Tom Postilio & Mickey Conlon (#13), The Roger Erickson Team (#14), The Stanton Hoch Team (#15), The Janice Chang Team (#16), Howard Margolis / Marie Espinal / Jeff Adler (#17), The Mangone Team and The Daniela Kunen Team (tie #18), The Kotler Team (#19) and The Azoulay Miles Team (#20).

Tied in the number two spot for Top Individuals by GCI were Ann Cutbill Lenane and Judith Lederer, followed by Shari Scharfer Rollins (#3), Neal Sroka (#4), Emily Sertic (#5), Jessica Levine (#6), Leslie Mason (#7), Jennifer Kalish (#8), Sonia Stock (#9), Marcos G. Cohen (#10), Austin Schuster (#11), Andrea Wohl Lucas (#12), Tristan Harper (#13), Michael Kafka (#14), Ana Lee (15), Sonia Seth (#16), Lila Nejad (#17), Sheilla Manigat Levin (#18), Patricia Levy (#19) and Katherine Gauthier (#20).

The award for Top Team by Transactions was won by tie, going to The Rubin Team and The Stanton Hoch Team. The award for Top Individual by Transactions went to Jessica Levine.

Additional Top Teams by Transactions were The Tavivian Team (#2), The Rosa Pereira Team (#3), Tirosh & Team (#4) and The Holly Parker Team (#5).

The Top 5 Individual Agents by Transactions were rounded out by Carol Landon (#2), Madeline Hult Elghanayan (#3), Patricia Levy and David Glick (tied #4), and Aimee Fink, Donna Conti, Charles Brophy and Kimberly Jay (tied #5).

For Manhattan, the Top Retail and Commercial Award by GCI was given to Peter Gross (#1) followed by The Faith Hope Consolo Team (#2) and The Dana Commercial Team (#3). The Top Retail and Commercial Award by Units went to The Dana Commercial Team (#1) followed by The Faith Hope Consolo Team (#2) and Peter Gross (#3). 

The Steiner-Hernandez Team, based out of the 575 Madison Avenue office, was named the firm’s Top Rental Team by Transactions in Manhattan. They were followed by The Kotler Team (#2) and The Azaria Team (#3). Janna Raskopf, also of the 575 Madison Avenue office, was named the firm’s Top Rental Individual by Transactions in Manhattan. She was followed by Giaz Khan (#2) and Keyan Sanai (#3).

Additional awards included DE Title Services for Manhattan, which went to Nazila Jarrahian and The Outgoing Broker to Broker Referral Award, which went to Tom Postilio and Mickey Conlon.

A Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Mary Anne Greene of Manhattan’s 111 Fifth Avenue office for her career-long contributions to the business.

BROOKLYN

In Brooklyn, The Maroni Team, led by Alexander Maroni of the 43 5th Avenue office was named Brooklyn’s Top Team by GCI.  Additional top teams included The Scott | Robles Team (#2), The Peters / O’Brien Team (#3), The Sarah Zelermyer-Diaz & Marc Karavasian Team (#4) and The Carolyn Cedar Team (#5).

Rebekah Carver of the 1410 Cortelyou Road office was named Top Individual by GCI in Brooklyn, followed by Robert Nicoletti (#2), Bren Salamon (#3), James Kerby (#4) and Binnie Robinson (#5).

The Top Team by Transaction in Brooklyn went to The Golovko Team, based out of the 237 Smith Street office. They were followed by The Maroni Team (#2), The Scott | Robles Team (#3), The Peters / O’Brien Team (#4) and The Sarah Zelermyer-Diaz & Marc Karavasian Team (tied #5).

The number one spot for Top Five Individuals by Transactions was awarded to Diana Hermanowski of the 280 Metropolitan Avenue office, followed by Klevi Tomcini (#2), Allan Gerovitz (#3), Robert Nicoletti (#4) and Bren Salamon (#5).

The Golovoko Team was named the Top Rental Team by Transactions. Diana Hermanowski won the same distinction for the Top Rental Individual by Transactions in Brooklyn. 

Erika Sackin, based out of the 1410 Cortelyou Road office, took home Elliman’s “Rookie of the Year” award for Brooklyn. A Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Martha Ellman of Brooklyn’s 156 Montague Street office for her career-long contributions to the business.
