Donato of Stalco Const. honored as L' Ape Regina

The Long Island Breakfast Club (LIBC) honored Stalco Construction's office manager Carol Donato with the title L'Ape Regina - a Queen Bee - for her contributions to the Long Island community. LIBC recognized Donato during the Italian heritage networking event titled "An Evening in Tuscany," which took place at Westbury Manor. "We are proud to recognize Carol Donato for her remarkable community work as an executive board member and secretary of Contractors For Kids," said Valentina Janek, LIBC founder and president. "Carol has devoted her energy and time to improving the lives of Long Island children with life-threatening sickness and their families." Accepting the title, Donato said, "Thank you for recognizing the charitable work of Contractors For Kids, the largest Long Island non-profit organization supported by the construction, architecture, and real estate industry. We are able to assist Long Island families thanks to the generous support of over 300 member companies and individuals."
