Certilman Balin co-sponsor for conference

Over 100 people gathered to hear leaders in the renewable energy field discuss the topic of offshore wind on February 5, at the David S. Mack Hall at the Hofstra University Club. The conference addressed the proposed LIPA/Con-Ed wind farm; how it would be designated and constructed; the potential environmental impact; and how to obtain governmental authorization. Congressman Steve Israel was among the speakers.
