Dogtopia joins growing tenant mix at Brunswick Shopping Center

North Brunswick, NJ Dogtopia, a leading provider of dog daycare, boarding and spa services, has signed a lease to open a new 5,081 s/f location at Brunswick Shopping Center. The new location further strengthens the shopping center’s mix of retail, dining, experiential and service-oriented tenants.

The Dogtopia lease was negotiated by Fred Younkin, leasing representative with Levin Management Corp. (LMC), representing ownership. Jonathan Spoerl and Grace Daniels of Metro Commercial Real Estate represented the tenant.

As the shopping center’s leasing and managing agent, LMC)has completed 40,459 s/f of new leasing over the past three years, broadening Brunswick Shopping Center’s mix of retail, restaurant, experiential and service-oriented businesses. Recent additions include:

• Ace Pickleball Club – 26,319 s/f

• Dogtopia – 5,081 s/f

• Giri Trading Agency – 3,571 s/f

• Namkeen Hot Chicken Joint – 2,795 s/f

• Tropical Smoothie Café – 1,700 s/f

• Boost Mobile – 993 s/f

Together, these additions have diversified the shopping center’s tenant mix while creating new reasons for customers to visit throughout the week.

Offering award-winning daycare, overnight boarding and spa services, Dogtopia is built around the principles of safe socialization, exercise and education. The new location will feature climate-controlled indoor playrooms where dogs are grouped by size, temperament and play style, along with overnight boarding, spa services and live webcams that allow pet parents to check in throughout the day.

Located at 498 Milltown Rd. off Rte.1, Brunswick Shopping Center is a 288,000 s/f community shopping center anchored by Lidl and LA Fitness. The property attracts more than three million annual visits, serves a trade area of more than 280,000 residents within a five-mile radius, and offers visibility and convenient access along one of Central New Jersey’s busiest retail corridors.
