Deglomini of Simone joins board of Westchester Square District Management

Real estate developer and owner Joseph Deglomini has been named to the board of directors of the Westchester Square District Management Association, the organization responsible for managing the Westchester Square Business Improvement District, a newly formed BID approved by N.Y.C. earlier this year. Deglomini is a principal of Simone Development. With partner Joseph Simone, he invests in office, medical, retail and industrial real estate throughout the five boroughs. Simone Development currently boasts a portfolio of more than 5 million s/f of commercial real estate, and has an additional 900,000 square feet in various stages of planning, construction, leasing and delivery to the market. As one of the largest stakeholders in the marketplace and a noted proponent for economic growth in the Bronx, Joseph Deglomini was pleased to welcome the Westchester Square BID - New York City's 67th BID - to the neighborhood. Signed into existence in the Spring, the BID has an annual operating budget of $320,000 and provides services such as maintenance, sanitation, security, holiday lighting, beautification, landscaping, marketing and promotion and more. It currently serves 145 retail establishments along both sides of Williamsbridge Road and East Tremont Avenue between Eastchester Road and Silver Street to Westchester Avenue, and the properties in the triangular blocks in the middle of the district along East Tremont Avenue and Williamsbridge Road.
