Deegan of Forchelli Curto joins board of Hofstra’s Center for Entrepreneurship

Uniondale, NY Daniel Deegan, a partner with the law firm of Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo &Terrana, LLP,  has joined the board of directors of the Hofstra University Center for Entrepreneurship.  The Center for Entrepreneurship has worked with hundreds of students and fostered the creation of student-run companies through various programs.  The center has opened a business incubator, the ideaHUb, which serves as a collaborative work environment for students and start-up companies.

Deegan heads up the law firm’s industrial development agency (IDA), municipal incentives, and government relations practice groups, with particular emphasis on facilitating and implementing responsible real estate development projects.  

He specializes in Real Estate Development Law, Zoning Law, Municipal Incentives/IDA Law, and Government Relations/Municipal Law.  He is experienced in representing companies before the IDAs in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

He is admitted to the bars of New York and New Jersey, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the United States Supreme Court.  He is a graduate of Providence College and the St. John’s University School of Law.
