DDG enlists Air Aroma to custom design fragrance for 345meatpacking's lobby

Enticing buyers can be a difficult feat - and many developers are looking to scent marketing to do it. Developers are now using custom designed fragrances as part of their sales tools to create a positive, comforting environment for buyers and renters and add a sense luxury on their overall impression. DDG architect and real estate development firm has added a fragrance to their lobby at 345meatpacking, with more developments soon to follow. At the forefront of the next generation in real estate investment and development, DDG combines a passion for real estate investing with a defined vision for innovative design and lifestyle and adding fragrance to their brand is an extension of their innovation. DDG has enlisted the help of Air Aroma, the international innovator and leader in scent design and fragrance systems with over 16 years of experience - helping companies implement scent as part of their overall branding strategy, providing scent marketing solutions, fragrances and technologies. 345meatpacking consists of 37 one, two and three-bedroom condominium residence located in New York City's Meatpacking District. The avant-garde condominium complex represents a growing trend among residential developers to create unique, destination buildings that in some cases can serve as public art. Following this trend, the custom DDG fragrance designed by Air Aroma is delivered throughout the lobby using Air Aroma's advanced patented HVAC scenting technology, greeting guests and visitors when they arrive. To create this custom fragrance Air Aroma worked with DDG taking into consideration all aspects of the project, including location, materials, inspiration, history and overall aesthetic. The end result was a signature fragrance with green leafy notes blended with robust woods and light floral blossoms to create a truly welcoming experience. Air Aroma's fragrance team consists of a unique collaboration of the best perfumers in the world, combined with other creatives with backgrounds in interior design, graphic design and branding, enabling Air Aroma to successfully bring together the vision of the architect through scent. "The DDG fragrance delivers a beautifully complex composition that represents the innovative design and green approach of DDG spaces," said COO of Air Aroma, Alan van Roemburg." The scent works to compliment the natural textures and materials found throughout DDG developments such as planted grottos, green walls and Austrian oak floors." Additionally, Air Aroma is also bringing their bespoke fragrances to upscale development property at 66 East 11th St. This new development, currently in construction, is known for its green and eco friendly attributes. With this in mind, Air Aroma also offers a natural fragrance alternative using a complex blend 100% essential oils. Owners of the individual apartments also will be able to work with Air Aroma to create a custom scent, used exclusively for their home.
