Dawson, Hoskins and Francois of JLL handle leasing for mixed-use project

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) has nearly completed the lease up of 22,000 s/f of retail space at The Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York's 110-30 Merrick Blvd. project. The mixed-use project encompasses 22,000 s/f of street-level retail and more than 50 residential units. The JLL team for The Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral included Cubie Dawson, senior vice president, Kenneth Hoskins, vice president, and Genevieve Francois, analyst, all with JLL's New York office. JLL was selected by the church in May 2006 to provide retail brokerage services, review existing financial feasibility documents, spearhead outreach efforts to the community, and provide project management services for the retail component. Construction of the four-story, mixed-use property was completed in 2007. In six months, JLL leased nearly 98% of the retail space at the site, including signing Jamaican restaurant MoBay to 5,000 s/f for 15 years for a new concept-King's Table. Other retail deals include Washington Mutual signing for 3,300 s/f; Subway Restaurant leasing 1,782 s/f and Trevors News taking 500 s/f.
