Davis of Eastern Consolidated retained to sell 6,486 s/f walk-up building
Eastern Consolidated, a leading investment sales brokerage firm, has been retained as the exclusive agent to market for sale 234 East 7th St., a 6,486 s/f walk-up building located just off Ave. C in the East Village.
This well-maintained property is centrally located in the heart of the East Village, just steps from popular bars and restaurants. There are 20 apartments in the building, half of which are rent stabilized.
A number of the building's systems were upgraded after Hurricane Sandy, including the installation of a new electrical system with new panels and separate meters for each unit. The boiler was rebuilt and a gas burner was added.
"The East Village is the new West Village. Given the rate of rent growth and the supreme desirability of the area, this is a great opportunity to buy in the right sub-market at the right time," said Marion Jones, a director with Eastern Consolidated, who along with associate director Stewart Davis, exclusively represent the seller. "This one should really stand out above the others - it truly has below market rents and is in impeccable physical condition."
The 23-ft. wide property is located a few blocks west of Tompkins Square Park and seven blocks north of East Houston Street. It is a short walk to the F, B, D, and Q subway lines and a convenient distance from the FDR Dr.
