David Yurman expands headquarters to 150,000 s/f at Hudson Square Properties’ 200 Hudson St.

Manhattan, NY Hudson Square Properties (HSP), a joint venture of Trinity Church Wall Street, Norges Bank Investment Management, and Hines, said that David Yurman signed a long-term lease renewal and expansion for its headquarters at 200 Hudson St. The new lease expands David Yurman’s footprint by more than 25% to 150,000 s/f. The company’s headquarters since 2002, 200 Hudson St. includes a separate entrance and lobby for the firm as well as dedicated elevators.

Hudson Square Properties was represented by Peter Shimkin of Newmark and Nichole Cortese of Loeb & Loeb in the deal. David Yurman was represented by Mary Ann Tighe, Ken Meyerson, Ariel Ball, Alex Leopold and Ali Gordon of CBRE, as well as Robyn Abbate of Wiggin and Dana.

David Yurman was founded by artists David and Sybil Yurman in 1980.

The New York-based, family-owned firm is rooted in artistic inspiration, craftsmanship and unconventional yet elegant jewelry designs. David Yurman collections are available at 51 wholly-owned retail stores throughout the United States, Canada, and France. The company’s designs are also available at over 350 locations worldwide across the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, the United Kingdom, Russia and the Middle East.

Located on the northern border of TriBeCa and within walking distance of the 1, A, C, and E subway lines, 200 Hudson St. offers corporate tenants a premier office location. The total building area spans 380,971 s/f across 12 floors, with upper floors offering views of both downtown Manhattan and the Hudson River. Tenants of the building include leading workplace furniture manufacturer Steelcase and French media conglomerate Havas.

This announcement comes during a year of considerable leasing volume and neighborhood activity across the Hudson Square Properties portfolio. The venture signed multiple leases for a total of 409,000 s/f in 2023, with creative tenants, including fine jewelry brand Mejuri, productivity startup Notion, full-service media communications agency Canvas, and fashion brand Esprit. Hudson Square Properties’ tenant-oriented leasing approach differentiates it in the market by offering companies the stability to establish key offices while providing the flexibility for businesses to expand.

Hudson Square Properties is a portfolio of 13 office buildings in Hudson Square comprising six million s/f of commercial space. Properties in the joint venture portfolio include 555 Greenwich+345 Hudson St., 75 Varick St., 160 Varick St., 225 Varick St., 155 Avenue of the Americas, and 205 Hudson St., among others.
