What was your most notable project, deal or transaction in 2012? : The firm represented Renaissance Downtowns Urban America LLC - named Master Developer by the Village of Hempstead for its Downtown Transit Oriented Development Project which will consist of over 3000 units of new housing & over 1 million square feet of office, retail and hospitality uses. Working together with the developer, the Village adopted a first of its kind form-based zoning code that incentivizes cooperation among property owners and requires participants to employ Village residents for a portion of the jobs created by the project.
