CSM Sport and Entertainment signs 11,940 s/f at 80 Eighth Ave.

Manhattan, NY According to GFP Real Estate, CSM Sport and Entertainment, a global integrated marketing and brand experience agency working in the sports and entertainment, has signed a three-year lease for 11,940 s/f on the 5th floor at 80 Eighth Ave.

CSM assists governments, brands, non-profits, federations and governing bodies to evolve and engage with the community through sports and entertainment.

Known as one of the world’s leading agencies, CSM has over 25 locations worldwide, including offices in London, Paris, Hong Kong and Dubai, and will use its new space in New York for general and administrative offices. CSM boasts more than 1,000 employees worldwide and offers a full range of services, from digital and data to consulting and commercial strategy.

Sean Hoffman of Savills represented the tenant, CSM Sport and Entertainment, in the transaction; Matthew Mandell of GFP Real Estate represented the landlord, GFP Real Estate.

“80 Eighth Ave. has long-attracted tech and creative firms looking for offices with an industrial look and feel, that want to be near other tech giants like Google and Facebook. It’s the perfect location for CSM to set up its first offices in the city,” said Mandell. “We are pleased to accommodate this fast-growing agency.”

Built in 1929 and standing 282 feet tall, 80 Eighth Ave., a 20-story building, designed by the architect William Whitehall offers 185,000 s/f of commercial space and a newly renovated lobby.
