Cross County Shopping Center welcomes Mito Asian Fusion, Invicta Watches and Carvel Ice Cream

Yonkers, NY The Cross County Shopping Center welcomes three new retailers: Mito Asian Fusion, Invicta Watches and Carvel Ice Cream. Additionally, Bath & Body Works, owned by L Brands, is completing a full remodel of their existing store and will add the White Barn Candle concept to the location.

The addition of these brands is part of an ongoing strategy to bring the most current and fresh retail concepts at one of the largest outdoor shopping centers in Westchester County, which is owned by Marx Realty and Benenson Capital Partners, LLC.

“These three new retailers will perfectly complement the existing brands at Cross County Shopping Center and provide something new and fresh for shoppers to experience,” said James Stifel, chief investment officer for Benenson Capital.

“With the potential redevelopment of Sears there is an exciting greater opportunity to add value to Cross County Shopping Center,” said Craig Deitelzweig, president and CEO for Marx Realty. “There is an incredibly strong retail demand at Cross County and we are looking forward to enhancing the center with even more restaurants, entertainment and mixed use elements.”

Mito Asian Fusion is a 5,000 s/f restaurant featuring sushi, noodles, Hibachi, cocktails and more. The Cross County location will be the retailers second restaurant, and is scheduled to open this winter.

The Invicta Watch Co. will open in 963 s/f adjacent to Macy’s this winter.

Carvel Ice Cream will open in a 375 s/f space, near Old Navy in the fall.

Bath & Body Works, a long-time retailer at Cross County Shopping Center, committed to a 10-year lease renewal and has begun a complete store-wide renovation of the 4,100 s/f space, located at Center Court.
